Abstract: The book tries to point out the rich industrial past of the Ústí Region, or the heavily urbanized area of the Podkrušnohoří region, the towns of Klášterec nad Ohří and Děčín. The author team was led by Vladan Hruška from the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Science, who coordinated a team of other co-authors from the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Science of J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
