Abstract: The 130-year history of organized Czech geography is undoubtedly connected not only with the exchange of many generations but also with changes in discourse and the development of research topics. As the analysis of the research project database shows, the range of topics of current interest to geographers is extraordinary. The interdisciplinarity of research is also evident from the frequent collaboration between geographers and experts from other fields.
