This article describes the advantages and disadvantages of creating maps with traditional GIS software, in this case, with a focus on map lettering. Readers are provided with instructions on how to modify the placement of map lettering and how to rotate it along geographic axes (graticule). The article also describes basic rules for the placement of map lettering. |
